Very rare first French edition, also published as part 3 of the collected ed. "Les ouvrages d'architecture", and first published in Dutch in 1654 under title "Swanenburch. Gemeenlants Huys van Rynlant Gelegen tussen Haerlem ende Amsterdam". Contains 8 engr. plates, 7 fold., figuring plans and elevations of the Gemeenlandshuis Zwanenburg, former Gemeenlandshuis of the Hoogheemraadschap van Rijnland, designed by Post (1608-1669) and built in 1645-1648. Engr. vignette by J. Goeree on title.
