18th-c. half mottled sheep, marbled paper covers, gilt-orn. spine with raised bands, blue spr. edges (covers very rubbed, with 25 blank ff. at end added at the time of the binding: sl. damp stains to some lower corners, occ. foxed ff.).
Theological work (1st c. 1492) wrongly attributed to Thomas Aquinas or Bonaventura, written in reality by the German-Polish Matthaeus de Cracovia (1345?-1410), rector of the University of Heidelberg, bishop of Worms and cardinal. Gothic types. Occ. ms. marginalia.
