Second ed. (1st 1689) of this "tragédie lyrique" with a prologue and five acts by Jean-Baptiste Lully to a libretto by Philippe Quinault after Ovid's Fasti. This work became known as "the king's opera" because of Louis XIV's fondness for it; it was performed many times over after its premiere on the 10th of January 1676.
