Obl. folio: engr. title-[12] ff.; 65 pl. (usual toning, occ. foxing or soiling, minor ink stains, some offsets, pl. XLVIIa-b with a tear in center fold).
Contemp. vellum, covers with gilt central coat of arms, flat spine (rebacked).
First edition of this ill. account of the funeral procession of Albert Archduke of Austria (1599-1621) by E. Puteanus (1574-1646). Ill. with a very nice engr. title and 65 pl., numb. I-LXIV, by Galle after the drawings of the architect J. Francquart (1577-1651) showing all 675 people in the funeral procession with name and status, and 3 large fold. pl. figuring i.a. the "Chapelle ardente". Introduction in Latin, Spanish, French and Dutch. Variant issue without name of printer on M1v (as only described in Opac KBR).
