Folio: [135] ff., 35 ll. (incl. initial and final blank; some unobtrusive marginal dampstaining, a few tiny wormtracks in blank margin, tear in blank inner margin of 1st f. of II).
Cont. blind-stamped leather over wood, covers with heart-shaped and lozenge-shaped stamps, spine on 4 raised bands with gilt labels, metal catches, fore-edge tabs (rubbed, clasps gone, formerly embossed but all metal gone). Excellent well-preserved copy.
3rd incunable ed. (1st Rome 1470) and 2nd Schüssler ed. (1st 1471) of an exegetical commentary on Psalms by the Spanish Dominican Juan de Torquemada (1388-1468). Printed in gothic type. Capital spaces. Although GW calls for 136 ff. the present copy in every respect agrees with the digitized München copy. Rubricated throughout; many initials with penwork extending into the inner margin. On [a2r] and [a3r] a 6-line initial in green with red penwork. Ref.
