Each about 20 pp. with b/w in-text ill. Written by Tamenaga Shunsui, retelling Baiken’s serial novel about the famous Eight Dog Warriors, called Nanso Satomi Hakkenden. The book covers compose diptychs, beautifully drawn and printed. An interesting and unusual series by Kuniyoshi, rarely seen on the market. Utagawa Kunisada (1786-1865).
