Venet." and right: "1569", Latin text at bottom left and in lower margin, faded or erased text in lower margin at right (flattened vertical fold, 1 hole, few sm. light stains, traces of former mount on verso).

2nd state of a large etching by Giovanni Battista Fontana (1525-1587), dedicated to Maria of Austria (1528-1603). Heavily reworked with the burin and with the address of Nicolo Valegio (fl. ca. 1561-1576).
