18th-c. mottled sheep, gilt-orn. spine with raised bands, marbled edges (front joint split).

Uncommon third Plantin edition of the works of Horatius. The second part of the volume is composed of an extensive index by the Polish humanist Treter. Plantin's mark on titles.
