Sm. folio: 33 pl. (foxing, marg. soiling, dampstaining, sm. marg. holes to some pl.).

Contemp. limp vellum with visible sewing, flat spine, vellum ties (two partly missing).

Collection of 33 plates of architectural designs, mostly representing vases and chimneys. By Le Pautre (1618-1682), famous Parisian architect, draughtsman and engraver, one of the most inventive and prolific artists in the field of architectural ornamentation of the Grand Siècle. Includes 3 engr. titles with the name of P. Mariette as publisher and two with dates 1659 ("Vases à la moderne") and 1661 ("Vases à l'Antique").
