Hand-coloured mezzotint, 41,9 x 32,3 cm, wove paper, address at bottom right: "I. Iacob Haid et filius excud. Aug. Vind.", numbered 1 and 7 at bottom left, title and 4 lines of text in both French and German in lower margin.

Under passe-partout and gilt frame (not studied outside frame). Good condition, wide margins.

A woman is being courted by a man in the kitchen. In the ambiguous texts, the man says he wants to take care of her eggs. German mezzotint based on the painting by François Boucher in Paris (Musée Cognacq-Jay, inv. J 13).
