Drawings, brown and blue ink, red chalk, ca. 17,9 x 17,9 cm (image), ca. 31,2 x 21,2 cm (sheet), laid paper with watermarks (crowned double-headed eagle, MV), unsigned, fol. n. in pen at top right (some foxing, 1 sl. browned unevenly).
Large sheets, good condition.
Interesting and entertaining ensemble of grotesque ornament designs. These kind of drawings were used as models by artists and craftsmen.
