Algiers, its Test Garden of Hamma, the "Marché à Maison carrée" (i.e. El Harrach), Birmendreis (i.e. Bir Mourad Raïs), Kabylia, Biskra, the Hammam Maskhoutine, Tunis, etc. - Album n. 2, 326 photos, 1918: photos of a travel in Morocco showing city views, most with the travellers posing (two are identified: André Spells and Jean Vanecke) in Oran, Fès, Marrakech, the ruins of Volubilis, Rabat, Casablanca, the Dadès Gorges, indigenous people ("jeune fille juive", "femmes berbères"), etc. With also photos of Copenhague and in Norway (Sognefjellsvegen, Lillehammer, Ålesund, etc.). - Album n. 3, 50 photos, 1948: Leopoldville, Matadi, the Tshopo River, indigenous people and everyday life scenes, people disguised (in Africans, colonials, as Leopold II), the Ruwenzori, with also some photos of the Acropolis in Athens, etc. With a drawn map on tracing paper "À l'intention de A. Willems" and a typed letter from Diambi David Rued from Leopoldville asking to Mr Assimil to receive his methods to learn French. - Album n. 4, 238 photos + 3 handwritten postcards: photos of Yvonne de Meurs (1907-1987) from Brussels, representing her at different ages (baby, child, teenager, young adult), with her parents, as "communiante", "chez bon papa et bonne maman de Meurs", "bonne maman Waters", disguised (as a "bergère" from Watteau's painting), during travels (in Paris, Ostend, Lausanne, etc.), photo cut from a newspaper where she figured for "toilette fort remarquée au Grand Prix de Bruxelles", etc. 2 photos of a crowded room in Ostende and 2 of a dinner (one showing Queen Astrid). - Album n. 5, 1157 photos, before 1940: photos from a Brussels family, i.a. in front of Villa Lorraine, at the castle of Laeken or Tervuren, etc. Interesting photos of a flight with an air balloon and one in a plane. - Album n. 6, 57 photos, s.d.: showing people skiing and in the mountains at Wengen (Switzerland).
