Very rare Dutch edition of this slave narrative in two parts (first in French: 1656, first in Dutch: 1657) by and about the Southern Netherlandish traveler, historian and poet E. de Aranda (1612-ca. 1686) who lived in Barbary slavery for two years and wrote his experiences down in this work.
