37,5 x 88,5 cm, on 3 sheets of paper assembled together, in French, pen and brown ink, coats of arms enhanced with watercolour (sl. browning, tear in the middle without loss).

In mod. varnished wooden frame and glass.

Descending family table over four generations, nicely ill. with numerous coats of arms (some unachieved at the top). Henry Butkens (not to be confused with his homonym, brother of the famous genealogist Christophe Butkens) was knighted by Emperor Maximilian in 1513 and had three daughters. Marie, the eldest, married Nicolas van der Meeren, mayor of Antwerp.
