Contemp. calf, gilt spine with raised bands (corners rubbed, joints loosening, covers with scratches).
Large compilation of regional histories of the Southern Netherlands by the Leuven historian Gramaye (1580-1635), including works by Lindanus (Dendermonde) and De Guyse (Mons). As usual the order of the various parts differs from one copy to another. Containing (in order): Brabant, Leuven, Brussels, "Gallo-Brabantiae", Antwerp, "Taxandria", Breda, Namur, Cambrai, Mechelen, Ghent, Bruges, Dendermonde and Mons. Ill. with 10 engr. headpieces by Harrewijn among which views of Leuven, Brussels, Antwerp, Den Bosch, Ghent, Bruges and Ypres. Titles in red & black. Text in 2 col.
