Mod. overl. vellum, flat spine titled in ink, old fore-edge markers (knots). Notwithstanding the defects an interesting copy.
Extr. rare Dutch Catholic New Testament, by 2 printers/booksellers who only published Dutch books: M. van Roye (act. 1563-1591) and H. Wouters (act. 1573-1591). Ill. with a circular woodcut portrait of Christ on title and 54 sm. woodcuts in text. Title and calendar in red and black. Text in gothic type. Ref.
