Etching and engraving, 29,7 x 39,0 cm, laid paper, inscription in lower margin: "PONTVS QVOQVUE SERVIET ILLI." (underlaid, trimmed to platemark, lower margin partially cut, small pieces missing at top left).

Loose under passe-partout. Good impression.

N. 34 (number cut at bottom right) from a series of 42 plates illustrating the Joyous Entry of Cardinal-Infante Ferdinand of Austria (1609-1641), Governor of the Spanish Netherlands, in Ghent on 28 January 1635. These plates are part of Guilielmus Becanus, "Serenissimi principis Ferdinandi hispaniarum infantis S.R.E. cardinalis triumphalis introitus in Flandriae metropolim Gandavum", 1636.
