Bifolium (31,5 x 20,5 cm): 2 pp., on Pro Patria paper watermarked "C. & I. Honig", in French, signed "Charles de Lorraine", countersigned with memos in Dutch by J.E. de Beelen, J. Simon, seal under paper (tear without loss on the 2nd leaf, pencil ms. annotation).
About the repairs to be made to the canals linking the port of Ostend to Brabant. With the copy of the answer of the burgomasters and aldermen of the Brugse Vrije, in French, dated 16 December 1767 (loose leaf of the same format, 1 p.).
Joined, 2 bifolia of same format, in French, requesting prayers in the Antwerp churches for the serenity of the sky : 1. Kaunitz-Rietberg, Wenzel-Anton von - Signed l. to the vicars general of the bishopric of Antwerp. Brussels, 26 June 1745. 1 p., countersigned by "A[mbroise] de Ferrari", secr. to the Council of State. The Minister Plenipotentiary, Governor General a.i., requests public prayers to stop the continuous rains. - 2. Cobenzl, Charles Count of - Signed l. to the bishop of Antwerp . Brussels, 13 November 1764. 1 p., printed letterhead, countersigned by the same A. de Ferrari (with a shakier hand, as he was then over 80 years old). Same request, twenty years later. Réf.
