Nice set of consecutive pen drawings of the months of the year with many sketches in blue pencil in the margins. Mentioning both the Julian calendar and the French Republican calendar. Swyncop (Brussels 1878-1949) was a Belgian painter, etcher, illustrator and poster designer. He was the older brother of Charles Swyncop, whom he also trained as a painter.
Joined: Drawing depicting grapes. Same technique, ca. 22 x 16 cm, wove paper, pencil signed in the lower right corner. Also with a blue pencil sketch in the margin. (13 pcs)
