1st German edition, published the same year as the French, of a collection of siege plans and war journals related to the War of the Austrian Succession (1740-1748). With a dedication to Adolph Frederick, King of Sweden from 1751 onwards (Fr. ed.: dedicated to Count d'Argenson) and a published letter of Maurice of Saxe at the end. Incl. a general map with the theatre of war in the Austrian Netherlands and 24 siege plans of Ypres, Tournai, Oudenaarde, Dendermonde, Ostend, Brussels, Antwerp, Mons, Charleroi, Sluis, Hulst, Maastricht, etc.
