3 vol., folio: [12]-569-[1], [2]-370-[2], [2]-385-[1] pp. (some minor spotting; vol. I: large damp stain at upper corner in beginning vol I, tiny wormholes in lower blank margin; vol. III: first quire loosening, used & strengthened in margin).
Contemp. marbled calf, gilt orn. spines with 7 raised bands, leather title labels (rubbed, corners bumped, joints rubbed, front joint vol. III split, vol. II rebacked with modern leather spine and repaired corners).
Second edition of this topographical work, profusely illustrated with large views of abbeys and monasteries. This ed. is particularly interesting from a topographical viewpoint because of some renovations to the buildings since the 1st ed. (1656-1666), the new pl. are oriented differently as well.
