Contemp. marbled calf, gilt orn. spine with raised bands, red edges (covers partly rubbed and scratched, head def.). Wide margins copy.
First edition of the translation by Pierre du Ryer. Illustrated with an engr. title depicting Apollo and the Muses. Neat typography; red & black title.
