Three reverse paintings on glass, with Old Testament scenes: Jonah and the whale, Moses and the burning bush, and the meeting of Abraham and Melchizedek. The technique of glass painting produced luminous paintings and was very popular by the end of the 17th century and during most of the following century. In German it is known as "Hinterglasmalerei"; in French "églomisé".
