Watercolour on paper or parchment, on silver filigrane, 9 x 8 cm (filigrane on the verso sl. oxidated).
Intimate devotional miniature with St Paul holding his sword. A swirling banderolle identifies the saint as "S. PAULVS". The oval watercolour behind thick glass is encapsulated by delicate filigrane metalwork.
