French/English edition illustrated with 21 photomechanical reproductions of line blocks after collages (1st ed. 1922) and augmented by 3 later drawings (on pink paper at the end). Edition limited to 610 copies. One of the 500 unnumbered. ""Misfortunes of the Immortals" is one of Ernst’s first illustrated books - a format that would become increasingly significant for him.
