Very rare and interesting news sheet on military activities in the border region between France and the Low Countries during the War of the Spanish Succession (1701-1714), esp. the siege of Lille by Marlborough (1708). It consists of a title, - an engraving (ca. 17,5 x 27 cm) with i.a. a view of "Das Entsezte Brüssel" and a map of "Rÿssel oder Lille", - German verses in 2 col. separated by type ornaments. The engr. also offers a rare image of a "Savoischer Novellen Händler", i.e. a pedlar selling newspapers with titles as "Relation von Eroberung Gent und Brüggen".
