Various sizes, on vellum, in French (seals missings).

The familly of Culemborg (18 km southeast of Utrecht) belonged to the highest rank of the Burgundian nobility.
1. Magdalena van Culemborg (°1491) approved, under the authority of Charles V, the transfer of titles and properties from her sister Elisabeth van Culemborg (1475-1555) to her husband Antoine de Lalaing (1480-1540), who was the leading politician of the Low Countries during the regency of Margaret of Austria. Brussels, 22 March 1522. 1 f. Elisabeth van Culemborg, nicknamed "Lady Elizabeth", was the last sovereign Lady of the fiefdom of Culemborg and was also the Archduchess Margaret of Austria's lady-in waiting. Ref. Contemporaries of Erasmus, I:371.-- 2. Erard Van Pallant (ca. 1510-1570) agreed to pay an annuity to the children of his sister-in-law Elisabeth van Culemborg. Culemborg, 14 Sept. 1532. 1 f.
