Rare treatise, "singulier, curieux et recherché" (Brunet) about superstitions dealing with black magic, talismans, phylactery, exorcism, "Missa sicca", places where to receive the Eucharist etc. The first edition was published in 1679 (Paris, Dezallier). Despite the date on titles, the privileges are dated 1712 in vol. I and II (= error for 1702?) and 1703 in vol. III and IV. The work was again published in 1741 (with the same coll.).
