Translations by François de Malherbes, continued by Pierre Du Ryer (1st ed. : Paris, 1658-1659, 2 vol.). Set composed of: Les Epistres. 4 parts, in 2 vol.: 372-[20]-[4 bl.], 390-[16], 406-[9]-[3 bl.], 435-[9] pp. (some pp. sl. browned in pt. II, some foxing and sm. marg. ink stains in pt. III-IV). Fleuron on title of pt. I; copper-engr. vignettes on the other titles (vign. of pt. II engr. upside down). - Des questions naturelles. 3 parts, in 1 vol.: 304-[8 bl.], 317-[3] pp. (some pp. sl. browned, catalogue notice pasted on front pastedown). Copper-engr. title-vignettes.
