Nicely illustrated work on the Netherlands by the Dutch lawyer and antiquarian M. Brouërius van Nidek (1677-1743) and Isaac Le Long (1683-1762), enlarged and annotated by Jan Hendrik Reisig (-1794). Engr. ill.: front. with portraits of the makers Rademaker, Van Nidek, Le Long and Reisig (vol. I, dated 1802) and 300 numbered views (2 views on 1 p., except pl. 247 & 300 single on 1 p.) depicting towns, villages, castles, mansions, churches, monuments and ruins in the Netherlands, by A. Rademaker (1675-1735). Pl. with title in Dutch and date in lower right corner. Titles in red & black.
