First edition of the work on social wealth by the Polish Skarbek (1792-1866), pioneer in economic theory and Professor of Economics at the University of Warsaw. With a long bibliography of works on political economy at the end of vol. II. This work influenced Karl Marx who quotes it three times in "Das Kapital": in the chapters relating to labour division and cooperation.
