First edition of the work on the monuments of Ancient Rome by Du Mont de Florgy, "Major de l'armée autrichienne, chevalier de l'Ordre pontifical du Christ, etc." (cfr title). After a history of the Roman Kingdom, the author, who stayed 7 years in Rome (p. 80), describes the monuments following the plan of Giuseppe Antonio Guattani in his "Roma descritta e illustrata" (1805).
