First edition, published posthumously, of the history of France by Nicolas de Fer, from Pharamond until Louis XV. Work entirely engraved complete with the 66 plates (2 for Pharamond), numb. from 4 to 69, figuring a portrait of the king in a medallion and an important event of his reign, with below a description of that event and the dates of the reign. The text leaves (62 ff.) accompanying the plates tell the story of the King's life.
