4to: [1-1 bl.-14]-56-[3-1 bl.-22]-774-[28] pp. (toned, some spotting and marginal soiling).
Contemp. gold-tooled vellum, on covers gilt ornamental frames with gilt arms of Amsterdam in the centre and at the corners of the central frame, gilt spine with 5 raised bands (soiled, corners bumped). Good copy.
Collected philological observations on classical Latin poets by the great scholar and poet N. Heinsius (1620-1681), edited by P. Burmannus jr. (1713-1778). Title in red & black.
