Contemp. overl. vellum, flat spine with gilt label, blue edges (soiled). Very good copy.

Initial 2 volumes + final part (tables) of an extensively documented history of Gotha and Saxony by the archivist Fr. Rudolphi (1642-1722), completed in 6 vol. 1711-1717, with the genealogical tables by his son-in-law Hans Basilius von Gleichenstein. 2 full-page engraved portraits as frontispiece (Friedrich II of Saxony and Magdalena Augusta). 24 double-page and 50 full-page (incl. 8 folding) engravings (of ?, 1 loosely inserted). Large woodcut arms on title and part titles.
