Complete with 25 orig. lithogr. plates with biblical verses sign. by Abel Pann (1883-1963), Israel painter and draughtsman, born in Kreslavka, Latvia. Pann studied in Paris under Bougereau and Toulouse-Lautrec and in 1913 went to Palestine where he executed "The Bible in Pictures", using local oriental types to depict biblical characters.
