Cont. brown morocco (sl. rubbed), giltruled and -tooled covers orn. with a central gilt tool, spine on 5 raised bands (joints, head & tail rubbed), gilt sides, a.e.g. Sl. used but good copy.
New small size ed. (1st 1606) of this succesful theological work by the prolific German Lutheran church leader and theologian J. Gerhard (1582-1637). Ill. with an engraved title. Ref. STCN (Amsterdam (1), Cambridge Univ.). - Not in COPAC, Bn-Opale plus.
