2 vol., 4to: [20]-452, [4]-677-[3] pp. (light large dampstaining in both vol., some sm. foxing, stains to some pp. in the end of vol. I, some quires unopened, some ff. browned in vol. II, mod. ms. note on title of vol. I).

Original cased bindings, uncut copy (stains, lacks to spine of vol. I, front joint of vol. II split).

Second, enlarged ed. (1st: Bologna, 1685) of an extended series of astronomical observations and remarks by F. Mezzavacca (d. 1704), self-taught astronomer, Professor of jurisprudence and Governor of Pieve. Numerous woodcut ill. and diagrams, some full-page, incl. small world maps and a nice ill. of an astronomer in his study. Titles within ruled border.
