Modern quarter vellum with corners, marbled paper on covers, flat spine, mod. endpapers.
Third part only, with separate title of this second Lyon issue with modified date (first 1561) of the "Cronique de Flandres, ancienement composee par auteur incertain, et nouvellement mise en lumière". Memoirs of the Burgundian historian, courtier, soldier, chronicler and poet in the last decades of the independent Duchy of Burgundy, O. de La Marche (1426-1502). In his historical account he covers the period of 1435-1488 and gives us an important eyewitness account about the dispute over Flanders between the kingdom of France and the dynasty of the Habsburgs after Charles the Bold's death.
