Rare reprint (1st ed. 1648) of a collection of moral considerations by different authors. Curious impression intended to be read in two directions : the text pages are divided in two parts, the lower part printed upside down. The final page repeats the title page, but not upside down. "Tafel van multiplicatie" pasted on upper endpaper. Gothic type. Bookplate W.L.G. Joined a second, incomplete and very used copy, probably earlier (approx. pp. 17-224, with num. pp. lacking). Ref.
