First edition of this devotional emblem book on Christ's Cross by the Spanish Jesuit Bivero (1572-1656), chaplain at the Spanish court in Brussels. Ill. with an engr. title, 5 text illustrations and 70 copperplate emblems (by Ch. de Mallery after A. Collaert). Woodcut mark at the end. Title in red and black.
