Contemp. red morocco, gilt ruled covers with roll-stamps decorated with sm. flower tools in the corners and one central, gilt orn. spine with raised bands, a.e.g. (sm. traces of use).
Rare only edition of this work on geometry applied to astronomy and geography. Illustrated with 2 fold. plates. The mathematician Lorgna (1735-1796) taught at the Military College of Castelvecchio in Verona. He was the founder of the Accademia nazionale delle Scienze. Copper-engr. vignette on title.
