Various sizes, laid paper.
Good general condition.
Contains: 1. 21 French engravings showing monks (mostly Capuchins, but also Dominicans, Benedictines and the abbot of Tongerlo) in battle dress, readying their arms: sword and cross, for the battle of Falmagne (22/09/1790). Most ca. 28,5 x 16,5 cm and stuck under passe-partout. Some hand-coloured. Some with signature in plate "Fanatisme inv. / Verité delin." or "Basset à Paris". Some doubles in different states. Ref. Muller 5130b, c. - 2. 30 French engravings, mostly satirical, on the Brabant Revolution, ca. 1787-1790, mostly 8vo format. Neatly placed in green folder with ms. leaf containing list and notes from the collector. - 3. 4 loose ephemeral satirical prints on the Brabant Revolution, some with an explanation leaf.
