Fifth revised edition with the administrative and political divisions of France. Includes a lithographed frontispiece decorated with the map of France at the centre, and 88 (of 95) lithographed maps, including 86 maps of the departments. Each map is surrounded by an ornamental cartouche with portrait, an illustration of the local production and a descriptive text "Remarques & curiosites". Besides 1 map of Algiers and 1 of Belgium, each with descriptive text, follow at the end. Maps and illustrations by A. Clement, A. Thez, V. Quetin, and A. Rivaux.
