4to: title and 44 maps, borders hand-coloured (occ. spotting, some sm., old restaurations).
Contemp. marbled sheep, gilt-orn. flat spine, red edges (head and tail missing, front joint split, corners bumped).
First edition. Engr. title by C.N. Varin and 44 maps by Perrier after R. Bonne (1727-1794). Incl. 2 world maps, a map with winds and monsoons, the old world, 5 continental maps, 17 regional maps in continental Europe, 10 in Asia, 4 in Africa, 4 in America, e.g. Asia Minor, Israel, Palestine, India, North Africa, Egypt, the U.S., Cuba, etc.
