Copied after Willem Jansz Blaeu, Janssonius published this new Zeeland-map to replace the outdated one by Mercator. Nicely ornated with 2 large cartouches and various ships. Dedicated to regent Johan de Knuydt (1587-1654). Extracted from the 1636 German "Newer Atlas oder Grosses Weltbuch [...]" (text on verso, leaf with ms. signature 7H).
