Lge folio: 6 pl. mounted on tabs (foxing, few tears on edges strengthened, few folds on title).
Contemp. half purple cloth, marbled paper covers, flat spine, green wr. preserved (sl. and partly used, loss of cloth to lower cover).
Lithographs figuring the citadel of Blaye, built on a rock beside the river Gironde between 1685 and 1689 by the military engineer François Ferry in defense of Bordeaux.
