Contemp. gilt-ruled and decorated sheep, gilt-orn. flat spine, gilt sides and inner dentelles, a.e.g. (scratches on front cover, joints rubbed).
Later ed. (1st 1704) of Luyken's best-known book, ill. with 1 engr. title and 100 half-page engr. emblems of different trades and crafts in Amsterdam during the Golden Age by Jan Luyken (1649-1712) and his son Caspar (1672-1708); each with a caption, a couplet and a 6-line poem.
