First edition of the collected poetical works of C. Huygens (1596-1687). Ill. with an engr. front. and a fold. pl. The 19 books contain a.o. the not earlier published "Dagh-werk", "Hofwyck" (with fold. pl.), a poem of praise for Huygens' country estate, 7 chapters "Snel-dichten" or epigrams and furthermore "Langdicht en Vertaelingen" and the "Spaense Wijsheyt" with translated expressions. Title in red & black.
