Joseph Bonvoisin (1896-1960) was a Belgian engraver who particularly liked the burin and whose work was rewarded in 1953 with the Consecration prize for engraving of the Province of Liège. His subjects are varied: landscapes such as "Hêtres pourpres", figures such as "Brasero", portraits such as "Portrait du Recteur D", nudes such as "Ad unum", allegories such as "Hommage posthum" or religious subjects such as "St François".
